Cher Needs To Get Saved Before it's Too Late

by David J. Stewart | September 2016

John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Radar Online reports that worldly 70-year-old superstar, Cher (born Cherilyn Sarkisian, 1946), is giving away much of her $305,000,000 in amassed wealth to family members. According to the article, she's “determined to meet her Maker with a clear conscience.” Unfortunately, if Cher doesn't repent of her satanic Buddhist faith, she'll split Hell wide open the moment she passes into eternity. All the money in the world cannot wash away anyone's sins...

Determined to meet her maker with a clear conscience, Cher celebrated her 70th — and likely last — May 20 birthday by using her $305 million fortune to look after her loved ones.

The dying diva has put aside years of heartbreak to buy comfortable homes for her two children, sources said. She’s also gifted her sister with a palatial spread and taken her ailing mother into her home, despite her own health struggles.

“Cher knows her time is limited,” an insider close to the Oscar-winning star told “She wants to put any feuds behind her, and make sure that everyone is taken care of after she’s gone.”

As Radar reported, Cher has battled the devastating effects of the Epstein-Barr virus since the ’80s.

Yet another virus forced her to abandon her 2014 “Dressed To Kill” tour, with doctors ordering her to wear a heart monitor.

The preceding quote says “Cher is determined to meet her maker with a clear conscience.” it should be “Maker” (with a capital M). What a ridiculous statement that Cher that Cher is preparing to meet God by giving her money to her children. Cher has spent her life dishonoring God with her life by promoting sensuality, nudity, promiscuity, rebellion, the occult, lust and lasciviousness. Her life has been characterized with unholy living, wicked films, rock and roll music, Hollywood, pulling on the same rope as the Devil. I am the biggest sinner I know, so I am not condemning Cher. The law of God condemns all mankind. We are all unworthy sinners! Don't think for one second that you can patch things up with God before dying, by mending your ways, generosity, or anything you can do as a human being. No matter how much good we do, we are still sinners. No amount of good can erase the bad.

I once read somewhere that singer Frank Sinatra gave away $100,000,000 in amassed wealth upon his death to charity to help abused children, hoping that it would amend for his sins in the eyes of God. If that be true, Mr. Sinatra is burning in Hell this moment. The only way to be right with God is through faith in the precious blood of Jesus. Romans 5:1, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” There is no other way (Acts 4:10-12).

Buddhism is of the Devil

Sadly, Cher is a professed Buddhist![1] Buddhism is a Christ-rejecting system of philosophy that is of the Devil. Buddhism is intended by Satan to blind men's minds from the truth of the Gospel (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4), so that they'll die in their sins and spend eternity burning in the torments of Hell, fire and brimstone (Revelation 20:15). In the booklet titled, “The Buddhist Perspective On Life And Destiny,” page 34, it says:

Buddhism Teaches People to Build Their Own Destiny

In the midst of misfortune, some people think that their ill fate is the design of the gods, and that to struggle is futile. They become glum, frustrated, and passive. They put their precious future into the hands of their imagined gods and willingly become enslaved. The Buddha teaches that destiny is within our own control. Nobody, not even the gods, can dictate our destinies. We are our own masters; we are the architects of our own future. The life of the Buddha provides a good example.

What wicked arrogance against the holy God of true Israel! What foolishness! My friend, please don't let Buddhism send you to the Lake of Fire! The precious and inspired King James Bible advises us to fear God. Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Buddhism doesn't even believe in a place called Hell.

“Although habits, superstitions, emotions, power, desires and karma can direct destiny, we can still change them. All these controlling factors, from habits to karma, are nothing but our own doing.

Clearly, Buddhism is rooted in one's own self-righteousness, and not the imputed righteousness of God through faith in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross, His burial, and bodily resurrection from the dead three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). May I kindly say, salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. God will not save anyone who is trying to be saved, He will only save those who are trusting to be saved. I feel sorry for all the wealthy people in Hollywood, who are some of the biggest adherents to Buddhism.

Buddhism is not considered a religion; but rather, a philosophy to be lived. In essence, Buddhism is nothing more than living one's own life one's own way, seeking goodness, peace and love without the Word of God, without the need for the new birth in Christ Jesus, and without the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit which every Christian believer possesses. Like Kabbalah and so many other ungodly alternatives to the Gospel, Buddhism blinds men to their need for redemption through Jesus Christ.

I'm sure many of you have seen the movie, “Poseidon,” about a passenger cruise ship that capsizes from a massive rogue tidal wave. What a horrifying thing that would be to experience? Can you imagine seeing a wave hundreds of feet high coming toward you?

In 2009, a young 18-year-old woman in Colorado stopped to gas up. While gassing her vehicle, another vehicle struck her SUV, starting a fire and pinning her between the vehicle and the gas pump. Helpless to do anything, she screamed, “Help me! Help me! I'm going to die!” And she did, tragically. She was burned alive as bystanders watched in horror! I wish I had been there to save her. I would have rammed her SUV with my car to free her, taking the risk. I would have ran into the gas station for a fire extinguisher. I would have done something!

Well, my friend (whoever you are), I am here now to save your life! I am warning you that death and the fires of Hell are coming. You will either spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. Buddhists don't believe in eternal Hell, so you've got nothing to lose by not becoming a Buddhist. Most religions, like Seventh-day Adventism and Jehovah's Witnesses, don't believe in an eternal burning Hell. So you've got nothing to lose by rejecting those religions. But friend, listen to me carefully, the inspired Words of God in the King James Bible warn everyone in Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life?

Here's How You Can Be Saved Certain

You can be born again right now. Salvation is completely free to you (Romans 6:23). Christ died on the cross for your sins (Romans 5:8-9). You and I deserve to be punished in Hell forever, because we are sinners (Romans 3:10-23; 2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9). We have sinned against a holy God. God's law in the Old Testament shows us that we are all guilty sinners (Romans 3:19). But God in His love sent His only begotten Son into the world, to die in our place on the cross (John 3:16). Jesus Christ paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt that we could not pay. Jesus paid for our sins with His precious blood (1st Peter 1:18-19).

Christ was buried and three days later bodily resurrected from the dead (1st Corinthians 15:1-4). This is the Good News (i.e., Gospel). Anyone who judges them self as a needy sinner in God's sight, and by faith receives Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sins, believing that He was buried and bodily raised up 72 hours later, is immediately and forever born-again, saved securely in Christ!!! That's it! Make the Gospel your only hope for eternal life and you are saved. Eternal life and forgiveness of sins are a free gift from God, obtained by childlike faith in Jesus as the Christ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. God will not save anyone who is trying to be saved, He will only save those who are trusting to be saved.

Cher's Earthly Days Are Close To An End

Cher's health is not good. The end of her life is soon approaching. I hope and pray that Cher will come to trust Jesus Christ as her personal Savior before it is too late. How about you friend? I am being your friend. When all of life's pleasures, splendor, wealth and glamour are gone, then comes the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). Isaiah 45:9a, “Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker!” In the first quote I shared with you, Radar Online calls Cher “the dying diva” because of her ongoing health issues. It breaks my heart to see anyone perish in their sins without Christ. God does not want anyone to go to Hell (2nd Peter 3:9).

“There's not a single person in this house this morning, who's unsaved, but what wouldn't be saved if you realized that the Creator of the universe loves you!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, a precious quote from the awesome sermon titled, "How To Love God More.”

John 8:32 and 36, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free ...
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
